ANNYEONG!

Personally, what I love about Ortigas Center is the calm environment- compared to the other business districts. Do not get me wrong, it is a busy place as well but without city buses passing by, no noise of a rush afternoon or evening, it's my ideal working place in deed. But what I love the most? Oppas! Left, right, in front of you or look behind, there are Koreans who have always been striking with their clothes, shoes, skin, I dunno, I just love them.

Since there's a quite big population, aside from the Korean restaurants you can find here in Ortigas, there are some coffee shops as well which specializes in serving what the Koreans will patronize. So let me share with you the korean cafes I came to love here in this place.

PARK WITHOUT ELEONOR

Yes, from the name itself, it is indeed a Korean coffee shop. It's been my favorite tambayan since I lived here in Ortigas, because aside from the fact that they're open 24 hours and they have free wi-fi, there's a lot of Oppas coming in and out. Hihi.

THE PLACE AND THE FOOD:

The place is a bit cozy. They have couches, tables, charging areas- it's a good place to chill and relax.

Upon entering the store, of course, the aroma of the breads will welcome you. You definitely have options since they offer variety of breads. They have loaf breads, cookies, puffs and of yes, cakes! Not to mention that they are creatively decorated cakes. Artsy, yes! And always expect for an assistance from their crews- they will carry your tray for you, you just have to tell them what will you be taking.

After a hard decision of what bread will you have, the second test is choosing your drink. Mr. Park's offer coffee, lemonades and smoothies. Their coffee is served with a latte art which will make you try hard not to ruin it. I have tried their lemonades already and I personally liked the raspberry one.

If you are keen of desserts, and of something new, I suggest you order Bingsu. It's basically Halo Halo in a korean way. It's available in two flavors- pat (fruits) and chocolate. And it is in a very reasonable price, for P160 only.

Pat Bingsu comes in a cute bowl of fruits: watermelon, pineapple, kiwi and red bean topped with strawberry ice cream.

Chocolate Bingsu was so adorable that I don't wanna eat it. It has chocolate ice cream with Oreo cookies on the side, Koko crunch, pillow puffs, cookie crumbs- that is heaven when combined.

MUST TRIES:

Puffs (cream, chocolate, strawberry and green tea).  Never judge theose bite size pieces because they can take you to heaven.

Cakes. Although they're cakes are not as good as you have thought, if you want something unique, then you must have their cakes because they have cool flavors like green tea. It's also a perfect gift for your loved ones to make their day extra special with awesome cakes designs.

PLUS

The Korean owner is really accommodating and he speaks in Tagalog (korean accent). So nice!
