PARK WITHOUT ELEONOR

Yes, from the name itself, it is indeed a Korean coffee shop. It's been my favorite tambayan since I lived here in Ortigas, because aside from the fact that they're open 24 hours and they have free wi-fi, there's a lot of Oppas coming in and out. Hihi.

THE PLACE AND THE FOOD:

The place is a bit cozy. They have couches, tables, charging areas- it's a good place to chill and relax.

Upon entering the store, of course, the aroma of the breads will welcome you. You definitely have options since they offer variety of breads. They have loaf breads, cookies, puffs and of yes, cakes! Not to mention that they are creatively decorated cakes. Artsy, yes! And always expect for an assistance from their crews- they will carry your tray for you, you just have to tell them what will you be taking.

After a hard decision of what bread will you have, the second test is choosing your drink. Mr. Park's offer coffee, lemonades and smoothies. Their coffee is served with a latte art which will make you try hard not to ruin it. I have tried their lemonades already and I personally liked the raspberry one.

If you are keen of desserts, and of something new, I suggest you order Bingsu. It's basically Halo Halo in a korean way. It's available in two flavors- pat (fruits) and chocolate. And it is in a very reasonable price, for P160 only.

Pat Bingsu comes in a cute bowl of fruits: watermelon, pineapple, kiwi and red bean topped with strawberry ice cream.

Chocolate Bingsu was so adorable that I don't wanna eat it. It has chocolate ice cream with Oreo cookies on the side, Koko crunch, pillow puffs, cookie crumbs- that is heaven when combined.

MUST TRIES:

Puffs (cream, chocolate, strawberry and green tea).  Never judge theose bite size pieces because they can take you to heaven.

Cakes. Although they're cakes are not as good as you have thought, if you want something unique, then you must have their cakes because they have cool flavors like green tea. It's also a perfect gift for your loved ones to make their day extra special with awesome cakes designs.

PLUS

The Korean owner is really accommodating and he speaks in Tagalog (korean accent). So nice!

BABY, IT WAS A FAIRYTALE.

THE PLACE

As a typical girl who dreamed of becoming a princess- Snow White who had a bite of a poisonous apple relived by love at first sight's kiss, Cinderella with her glass slippers was chased by a Prince and her mop and apron were replaced by veil and wedding dress, Rapunzel with her very long hair was rescued by a knight in shining armor.. And ME?

I'm patiently waiting for my hero so we can write together our own happily ever after.

*wakes up* oh, I'm not dreaming. In front of me is a dream turned into reality, a fairy tale land in the flesh! Magical. Enchanting. Name it!

The tables are inside cribs, that's why (I guess) the place was named "Amo Yamie Crib". And take note, the cribs were named after fairy tale as well. Very nice. It was so artsy, the lamps, the walls, the hanging decors, everything.. Some walls and the second floor reception were covered by comics.

You can also watch movies as they have available rooms for rent. There's a shelf of movie tapes to choose from.

THE FOOD

What made this cafe special is that they named their menu after fairy tale stories and characters. Plus the crew will leave you the note pad so you won't get pressured of choosing your food.

So we had "The 3 Malstesers" (P109) and "A-Reese in Wonderland" (P109) which were served in mason jars with colorful sprinkles on top of the whip cream. They taste good and the prices are reasonable.

One thing that caught my attention is their cakes. And why not? They actually serve cheesecake in a flower pot! Yes, in a pot. It was such a creative idea. The cake crumbs serves as the soil of an artificial flowers which made it looked like a real plant. So we tried one, and srsly, with the frappes and the cheesecake, it was sugar rush.

Good thing that we also ordered pizza fries. Which is awesomely yummy. I couldn't get enough. They also offer teas, waffles, burgers and pizza.

MUST TRY:

Pizza Fries. It is a very sinful combination but it's worth all the carbs.

Ugh, all I'm missing is a prince.

IT WAS A DREAM... INDEED.

Deceiving. You'll never expect that this place was far from what it looks outside. Don't get me wrong- the place was nice but it was definitely way nicer inside. As they say, never judge a book by its cover.
Surreal. So many feels upon entering the place. Everything feels like a dream.

TH PLACE

Dreamcatchersss will welcome you when you enter the cafe. Mind you, dreamcatcher with a lot of 's' because they have a lot. Bob Marley will also say "hi" to you with the rasta wall they have near the entrance.

There is actually a store inside where you can purchase a lot of awesome stuff. Dream catchers are also available for pre order.

It was more amusing seeing DREAAMCATCHEERS *all caps because they have huge ones*. There are almost full when we visited so we were given the spot where you have to seat on the floor (with pillows, of course or banig?). But I found it more comfortable.. lying on the floor. Hihi.

Some of the tables have sungka so you have something to entertain you while you were waiting for the order. What made this cafe more unique is that they do not have "wi-fi"- social media detox as how they call it. So instead of browsing your phone and gadgets, talk to your friends instead. Catch up, crack jokes and enjoy the moment.

THE FOOD

Another thing that's good in this place is that you do not have to worry if you're on a diet or something. They actually offer a healthy menu aside from coffee and pastries.

Trying so hard to be weight conscious, me and my friend ordered Chicken Wrap and Smoothies. I had their mango smoothie and my friend tried the strawberry one. I love the potato wedges! Gave me a sinful feeling but it was worth it anyway. The chicken wrap was filled with fresh veggies and delish chicken meat. It was good! Did not know that a wrap and smoothie can satisfy me that much.

Thanks, dreamlandph for my new discovery. Haha

MUST TRIES

Their ube whoopies are to die for! Swear to the sweetest of sweets. Haha. If you are already bored with the famous red velvet crinkles. Then, Dreamland offers green tea and ube whoopies.

PLUS
The owner was really accommodating. She even take some of our pictures, without us asking for it. It was so nice of her.
